| Atmospheric particulate matter(PM) comprises small solid or liquid suspensions dispersed in the atmosphere. It constitutes a complex form of pollution with a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and compositions that harm both the environment and human health.
Aerosols with a diameter of less than 2.5ìm (PM2.5), as well as those less than 1ìm (PM1), are considered the most dangerous for humans due to their deeper penetration and deposition in the human body. Additionally, it is important to consider the negative effects of larger-diameter particles (up to 10ìm, PM10). Note: The sensor values are raw, i.e. taken directly from the air quality measuring device without calibration. |
